Skills for Jobs

Seminar with CSR and Microsoft

Learning is the new currency. Are we successful in educating and preparing our young people with the skills they will need for future success in work and life in a rapidly changing technological world?

As we move more deeply into knowledge based economies around the world, where the majority of high paying jobs focus on deep knowledge application and new knowledge creation, and the half-life of knowledge gets shorter daily, learning is becoming the new currency.

In this seminar Greg Butler, Education Strategist at Microsoft Corporation, will give us a global perspective of the rapid shift in the education space.
When countries and continents are trying to master the art of learning to up skill their citizens, what do Sweden need to do and be aware of in order to stay competitive and support companies and organization with the leading talents?  How can technology play a vital role in that learning journey?

In panel: Lena Hagman, chefsekonom, Almega och Jonas Wallberg, ansvarig för ICT-frågor, Teknikföretagen

Moderator: Lotta Gröning
