Racism exists over large parts of the earth. But it is not a homogeneous phenomenon. In order to understand Chinese racism one has to study indigenous traditions.

Inverse apartheid

When the apartheid regime fell in South Africa many people thought that racial discrimination would be a thing of the past. But even today many consider that mixed marriages are unthinkable. And at many places white people are excluded, just as coloureds and Indians, from jobs for which they are qualified.
